Southern Indiana

This weekend we headed up to southern Indiana to visit with Renee and Greg.  They both worked on Saturday, but that allowed us to hit our favorite thrift stores and find a couple of new ones.  Renee is progressing well with the pregnancy and is now only filling the effects in the early morning.  She looks great and everyone is excited about the newest addition.  We are also excited about the countdown to Disney which will be the first week of October.  We are looking forward to spend a week with the family and have some fun and down time.

Now for the important items food.  We ate at two (2) new restaurants for us in Evansville.  Friday night we ate at Cheddar's, which is a chain and not too far from their apartment.  It was our first time to eat at the restaurant and the food was good and reasonably price.  It was a keeper in our book.

On Saturday night, we ventured to downtown Evansville to Turoni's Pizzery & Brewery, a local establishment which touted thin crust pizza.  Oh my goodness, this was great.  Loved the pizza and can not wait to try some of the different recommendations.  We will definitely go back to Turoni's on each trip to Evansville.

In our booth at Turoni's.

After seeing the sign, we had to make this picture with Renee.

    1. We had a great time, just too short. They are both doing great and very excited. If you want more bread, don't eat pizza but just go to the grocery store and get a loaf of bread. The thinner the better.
